Project Description
In 2008, whilst working for Darwin Community Arts, I designed and sourced seed funding for My Sisters Kitchen, a community peace building project bringing women from different background around food and story telling.
Years later, this project has had many incarnations, from a weekly meeting to huge community feasts in Malak Carpark and special events.
The community dinners are still a popular part of Darwin Community Arts, bringing together the community to share food, song and stories. You can check them out here
